| Use of the Austrian National Library is subject to a set of regulations. Persons wishing to use the facilities must be at least fifteen years old. To make use of the library's facilities and its special collections it is necessary to have, as well as a library card, an officially valid personal identification with a photograph. The validity of library cards is limited. A day ticket costs EUR 1.50. An annual membership card costs EUR 10. Items may only be consulted within the library; loans are only possible as an exception (such as for research institutions, official departments and doctoral students). |
